Thank you for being so enthusiastic about belly dance in 2009. We know belly dance is important to all of us. In addition to Laura Rose on Fridays, we are happy to have Jenny and Ellen teaching new classes at VDP Studios. Bravo! We have been doing some amazing dance events lately. Jane’s baby shower was so beautiful. Seven of our “Neighborhood Temple Priestesses” performed and officiated. We had a mixed audience of men and women and a Baltic choir came and sang for her. So stunning.

“Garden of Allah”
Don’t miss our annual show coming up April 19th. It’s a fundraiser to help pay the studio property tax that are in addition to our lease twice a year. Only 40 seats available. Please reserve in advance because every member of the audience is invited to sample different foods that each dance is dedicated to. Lots of preparation is going into this show and it is guaranteed to be a very very unique experience! $15 in advance ($20 day of, if any left). If we have more requests we may do a 3:00pm show, but we will have to know soon so please make plans ASAP. Reservations by phone or buy at the studio. Tell friends!

VDP Store
We have remolded our store front and as soon as the weather gets warmer, we will be using that entrance as well as the studio door. We invite you in before and after classes to shop. We have many items for dancers’ evolution; music, instructional DVD's, hip scarves, veils, zills, as well as inexpensive promotional fund raiser products.

We depend on these sales to make our ends meet every month and deeply appreciate your patronage.

Class Tuition
We know it’s hard times and many folks are feeling the crunch. We want to keep you dancing. We believe it’s the best antidote for the blues. We have ways for students to barter if you have something to offer; write an article within our guidelines that gets published, web design or upkeep, painting, flyers for classes, house work, massage, yard work. We’ll try to find something to keep you dancing if money is stopping you.

The color is “Turquoise” and the theme is “Water; Flow Around All Obstacles”.
