Aunt Cynthia recognized that it was
time. Something special was in order
for her niece Melissa to mark the
changes taking place in her life. Her
niece was no longer a child; something

new was being born out of the kernel.
A beautiful intelligent young women of
sixteen was lifting her face to the light.
So Cynthia asked for a list of Melissa's
closest girlfriends and added to it the

names of a few female relatives.
Cynthia sent them all invitations to
