Fremont PARADE head by Prolab NW 36th St 3RD Ave W. EVERYONE, , Parade starts at NOON BUT are dressed and ready at 10AM

Check out the size of these blocks!

They're not as heavy as they look! We promise!

Don’t worry it’s only cardboard folks. These are really light weight. However they are a bit bigger than we predicted. Hmmm? They are IMPRESSIVE are they not?! If we make them smaller the total size of our pyramid will be dwarfed. It’s 14 feet tall at this proportion. If we add another row we will need 28 more people. no No No! . . .They are not impossible to deal with, just challenging. Storage and transportation now poses a little problem. So I hung out with the blocks for a while in my living room and asked people what they thought who came by and saw them. They picked them up, moved then from room to room, dropped them, and experimented with positions. They seemed to take the abuse well to my surprise.

They're not as heavy as they look! We promise!

" Cool! A little big, but so light, Cool! Keep 'em people can deal; You can do lots of positions with them. The make good sun blocks if you balance them on your head, . . . or umbrellas."

They will not fit in a small car. They will fit on the roof however, wrapped in plastic and strapped to the roof. or a flock of them could ride in a pick up. (reminds me; I once saw 6 camels sitting in the back of a truck riding around in rush hour in Cairo. Too funny).

No joke. Pray, no rain.

People ask if we are going to paint them? I like the white and hey it’s easy. If some one wants to take on the task and expense of painting 56 blocks it’s Ok with me. I think we are going to cover them with clear packing tape to make them water proof. Can you paint on that stuff or do we have to do that before hand? Logistics! The cap stone is slated to be gold.

These blocks are easy to make in teams of two people. easy. It would be cool if Justin can pre cut them at his job. we shall see.

They're not as heavy as they look! We promise!

We have been asked to be an instillation after the parade in the Sustainable Solstice Fair at Gasworks park. Can’t you see the white stones on the green green grass in the midst of Lake Union? I can!

We plan on using velcro to stick the blocks to the frame. We will have white duct tape friction handles where ever necessary. We are confident it will work.

The way we will rehears this choreography of the Great Pyramid is with a smaller table top version. very practical. Then in June we will re-enact it in real size!

We just need a few more players on board! They are being called from the eons of time to come forth and do their sacred duty! We even got some chicks to be masons! It's going to be fun!
